TRANSMISSION 002 — THE REBIRTH

Hello. I just wanted to welcome everyone to my new blog. This took some time to put together but I am beyond proud of how it turned out.

Don't get me wrong, I love blogs and social media sites, I do. But I never once felt like I was truly in control or had the liberty to fully customize my experience or how I express myself to viewers. I also didn't like the idea of putting myself out there for strangers to "judge" me or "perceive" me. Seems a bit emo I know, but I'm sure some of you reading this feel the same way deep down.

This site that I've engineered is a full manifestation of my creativity and longing for a true personal space on this vast internet. At the same time, I can realize how it comes off as, the eerie and dark tone of the website might give you, the viewer, an idea of depression and edginess. I can assure you, this is not what you think it is. My creativeness and imagination sit far and wide from who I am as a person and how I reflect my emotions and mental status. It's like art I guess, you know?

If you haven't been able to tell already, I take huge inspiration from early 2000's horror video games, or more specifically Silent Hill 2, my beloved. I am very excited to hear from you, my viewers, of your thoughts on the page and in general. Made sure to include comment sections and designations that identify you, please do interact with me and others! At some point, I have thought about opening the website to others to make posts of their own, but for now I have restricted it to myself as a form of testing. I will also occasionally change the theme/appearance of the website to reflect who am i or how i feel in that moment of my life. Come along with me for the ride though, there's always room down here.
